Employee Assistance Program (EAP) covers a wide range for support services to organization’s employees and their immediate family members. There are many components, but at the core of the EAP is short term, solution-based counselling, either via telephone or face-to-face.
PHWC’s many Psychiatrists and Psychologists are often requested to provide seminars and talks with corporations or universities regarding mental health. These seminars are very informational and have different topics depending on what the institution or organization is looking for and can ideally be tailored to fit their needs.
Group counselling takes place in a group that is led by a facilitator. These groups are designed to cater to common themes of mental health wellness concerns shared by the members. Through sharing and different forms of activities, clients will gain a deeper understanding about their emotions, personal relationships and their current lifestyles.
Crisis intervention is an immediate and short-term psychological care aimed at assisting individuals in a crisis situation in order to restore equilibrium to their bio-psycho-social functioning and to minimize the potential of long-term psychological trauma.
School Wellness Day
Focus on setting up workshops and wellness activities for students topics include but not limited to empathy, tolerance, bullying, stress management and life management tool these topics are covered through classes such as mindfulness workshop art therapy among others.
